Methods

Use a script to run the following query against all project databases on stat1003:

SELECT
    DATABASE() AS wiki,
    LEFT(log_timestamp, 6) AS month,
    COUNT(*) AS registrations
FROM logging
WHERE
    log_type = "newusers" AND
    log_action = "create" AND
    log_timestamp >= "20131001"
GROUP BY 1,2

And then use this query to aggregate the result to global counts:

SELECT
    month,
    SUM(registrations) AS registrations
FROM staging.wiki_month_registrations
GROUP BY month
