The Wiki Education Foundation is an organization dedicated to supporting the use of Wikipedia in teaching and learning. As part of this mission they guide several thousand students through the process of contributing to Wikipedia articles each semester. These students form a significant contributor base for Wikipedia, while having patterns of contribution that vary significantly from the standard Wikipedian. This project aims to understand these differences and to quantify impact that these students have on Wikipedia.
