This page documents a planned research project.
Information may be incomplete and change before the project starts.
The goal of this proposal is to design a new, geographically finer data stream for Wikipedia page views that preserves reader privacy and can be made available to the public. We do so by dynamically limiting geographic granularity and by reducing temporal granularity from hourly to daily.
The full text of this proposal is available on Commons. Feedback is welcome on the project's talk page.
