Zaparoan is spoken by 1 people in Peru. I think it would be great idea to have a Wikipedia in this language.

If anything, it shows the problem with the current language proposal rules: Moribund languages with as little as 1 native speaker may easily be proposed, yet vigorous languages with many second/third languages such as Ancient Greek which can even show an active Incubator project get rejected. -- Prince Kassad 20:52, 1 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Every language can be proposed, and the reason is simple: Meta is a wiki, so anyone can create a page and submit a proposal. The reason why this is not rejected, is because the proposal is submitted just yesterday. SPQRobin (inc!) 16:23, 2 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
