- The community needs to develop an active test project; it must remain active until approval (automated statistics, recent changes). It is generally considered active if the analysis lists at least three active, not-grayed-out editors listed in the sections for the previous few months.
- The community needs to complete required MediaWiki interface translations in that language (about localization, translatewiki, check completion).

The Old Romanian language does not only differ in the alphabet from the Romanian language, but also in grammar and spelling. The language was first (until 1860–1862) used in the whole country, today it is still used in the Romanian regions Bugeac, Bukovina and Moldavia, but is different from the Moldovan language. That's why this language should receive, on my opinion, an own Wikipedia project. --Bukarester (talk) 20:22, 18 January 2016 (UTC)

Support I think the idea of having an Old Romanian Wikipedia with Cyrillic characters could give Romanians a way of looking at and studying their heritage online. - -HorseSnack (talk)
