Unexplainable denial of editing rights in the Hebrew Wikipedia
To my utmost belief, I found that my access to editing was barred due to suspicions of being a straw man i.e. acting under the services of others.
My username is "הבתשלחנה"("Hana's daughter" in Hebrew). I am a real person, a married woman, a mother of two, a grandmother, a PhD in biochemistry, retired, and a past director of the central laboratory in a reputable public hospital. I am an Israeli, Jewish, and a holocaust survivor.
As of September 2023, I have been a Wikipedia editor mainly improving existing entries. My main fields of interest are the use of correct (Hebrew) language, correctness and clarity of definitions in sciences, Judaism in the diaspora, and prominent figures. The Wikipedia project is significant to me, and I was glad to have the opportunity to render my know-how and opinion in editing. During voting discussions, I always exercised my personal opinions, based on my worldview and perceptions.
This arbitrary accusation of me being a straw man came without a clear explanation or evidence, and I don't understand what it's about. I was blocked from my talk page so I have no way to engage in dialogues with those who blocked me, to receive a clear explanation as to why I was blocked, or to defend my innocence. Even in the judicial system, processes are not conducted in such a manner. This process feels like a kangaroo court.
I am asking for your help to renew my activity as an editor. הבתשלחנה (talk) 13:53, 23 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
