Punjabi Wikisource Workshop was organized for outreach in Punjabi Wikisource Project.

To teach the new Wikimedians about proofreading and make them practice about formatting and correction along with OCR technique. They were also informed about the ongoing contest.

The participants were asked to create a wiki account prior event day to avoid any IP conflict in account creation. This program was focused on teaching Wikisource from mobile and empower the students with proofreading skills with minimal resources they have. The participants were research scholars and Masters students of Punjabi Literature.

Introduction: Wikilover90 gave introduction about Wikimedia Foundation and Punjabi Wikisource and how it connects students of Literature with it by providing free access to rare literature books online obviating the need of visiting distant libraries for a particular resources and how they can benefit themselves by contributing to Wikisource and connect straight to the source of their research thesis.

Keyboards and Applications: They were informed about different type of Punjabi typing applications and keyboards and were assisted in same on their devices.

Next Step was to teach them Simple proofreading basics starting with OCR using Indic OCR button and checking the spellings, punctuations errors in a page and correcting them. As an exercise, we asked them to spell check single page.
