The regional Museum of natural history, the branch of national Museum of natural history ,New Delhi is a non formal Environmental education centre aims to create conservation awareness among the public through the galleries and by the various in-house and outreach activities .The Museum located in the Paryavaran Parisar the lake City of Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India was opened to the public in 1997. The regional Museum of natural history provides unique opportunity to explore the biodiversity of Central India as The intricate natures network around us .The exhibit in the galleries are made up of judicious mix of specimens models and audio visual aids .The showcase and dioramas sequenced the selected themes .Bio-science Computer room and Discovery centers are located in the museum where learning can be fun and enjoyable besides there is a temporary exhibition hall where specialty thematic exhibitions are arranged periodically.
