Proposed Participation

I'm member of the Elected Board of Wikimedia Mexico focused on transparency and follow up our projects. I coordinate three of the most relevant projects currently: Wikipedia student clubs, GLAM initiatives and coordination of Wiki Loves Monuments Mexico. I want to share the experience of working with museums and cultural institutions in my country, for which I have worked with Galileo Vidoni and Osmar Valdebenito a presentation to the meeting.

Goal and Expected Impact

One of the goals I want to accomplish is to convince participants of the meeting about the benefits of performing GLAM agreements through the Mexican experience, and awareness about using Creative Commons licenses. We want to take the opportunity to there will be participants from all over Latin America, as it opens many possibilities to other Wikimedia Iberocoop chapters.
