Online Hausa Wikipedia awareness is a promotional campaign carried out by Hausa Wikimedians User Group members to spread awareness about Hausa Wikipedia and its community engagement in Wikimedia projects, in such away that Hausa community can engaged themselves into Wikimedia projects. The project is carried out online on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Whattsapp for five days, by sharing promotional videos, pliers, PDF and video turtorials.
1 - Introduction video: First video to release is Introduction to Hausa Wikipedia, in such away that Hausa people can understand what Wikipedia is all about.
2 - Hausa Wikipedian editors: Second video is about Hausa Wikipedian editors motivating Hausa people to become part of Hausa Wikipedia movement.
3 - Question and answers: Hausa people will have a lot of question in their mind, so these questions are predicted and answered in video three.
