Offline Wikipedia DVD Distribution

The Offline Wikipedia DVD Distribution is an initiative project of PhilWiki Community. It aims to distribute copies of Kiwix - Wikipedia Offline DVD and install them to computers in public elementary and secondary schools in Camarines Sur. Also, it aims to promote the English Wikipedia and Bikol Sentral Wikipedia project among the teachers of recipient schools.

Offiline Wikipedia DVDs

On 21 November 2015, PhilWiki Community and the Local Government of Canaman were supposed to hold Color Splash Run for Free Knowledge: Koloran ta an Kinaban to provide copies of DVD to twenty-one (21) public elementary schools and three (3) public secondary schools in the municipality of Canaman, Camarines Sur as the main recipients. However due to conflict on schedule of volunteers who will facilitate the activity, the event was cancelled.

Minalabac District (Elementary)

On 4 December 2015, a total of twenty-five (25) DVD copies were distributed to 25 public elementary schools in Minalabac, Camarines Sur during a district conference attended by school principals. The public schools district office also received a copy of the DVD.
