NARWHAL: Wikimedians across North America!

Dates and locations are set for WikiConference North America - Oct 16-19 2025

We have a list of member affiliates to found the North American Hub. It will be a support network, for a while, not a body making high stakes decisions. Member affiliates are listed here: Talk:North_American_Wikimedians/Hub_founding
- We'll treat that as enough binding to move forward as a Hub.
- When possible let's review and really agree on an updated phrasing of the draft agreement among these affiliates. Then the unified group can agree now to include supportive in individuals and groups that are not exactly Wikimedia affiliates. individuals and closely related organizations that are. And soon file for funding for small grants, perhaps.
The chapters (WM Canada, WMNY, and WMDC) have submitted a grant application to support Hub activities, principally small grants for events.
