Introduction

It was a long journey started when I attended a wikipedia awarenes in Kaduna, a program named "WIKIPEDIA A YAREN HAUSA" in 2019. Since that day I sign up with username Captain1044. A big thanks to that program organizers as they keep me in touch and whenever there is a wikipedia program i do participate. As time goes on i was attending tutorial classes by Anas.The idea of initiating this blessed user group was Anaskoko's, so we are now on it. The idea is to provide an encyclopedic medium that will attract muslims people in our area to wikipedia. To implore them make very good use of wikimedia. Help them to have easy access to their religion through wikipedia in their native languages by having many Islamic realated articles, Islamic Audios, Islamic vigdeos, pictures, Question and answers and many more Islamic related programs.

Aim

A free learning floor for Islamic knowledge through Wikipedia is to achieve through the objectives below

Objectives

1. To promote editing of Wikipedia and other Wikimedia both in Hausa and other languages.
2. To organize in-person events for local community Wikipedians/Wikimedians by providing them with resources needed to enhance both their skills and ability for the development of the Wikimedia.
3. To promote Islamic related articles in native languages.
4. To create a mediumm that will Islmically reduce gender gap.
5. To upload so many Audios, Videos of Islamic books.
6. To create a media where muslims will learn Islam in an easy way through Wikimedia.
7. To provide Question and Answers in Islamic Matters from different scholars in different Islamic matters.
8. To create a media where Muslims will learn Qur'an.

Activities

1. Promoting and creating Islamic related articles in Wikipedia.
2. Uploading Islamic Pictures in wikimedia commons, such as mosque pictures.
3. Quotes from Sahabah, Ulamaa' and Schorlars to wiki Quotes.
4. Uploading audio of The holy Qur'an, Islamic books, songs and Islamic words in Hausa language.
5. Uploading Islamic related words into wikitionary.
6. Online Monthly lecture with a scholar and wikimedians.
7. Weekly hadith pictures.
8. Monthly Islamic pictures.
