Prioritization edit

Q1. Which recommendations will respond to your community’s needs? edit

Choose Your Top Priorities Why is it prioritized?
Example: recommendation 2, improve user experience Example: Having a more engaging interface will excite more people from our community to want to contribute to Wikimedia projects.
Provide for Safety and Inclusion The significant changes in Hong Kong's legal environment means that safety becomes a top priority for the entire user group. Even prior to 2019 our group made great efforts to enact its own Safe Space Policy, ensuring that all contributors are welcome.
Increase the Sustainability of Our Movement The said changes in the legal environment made it more difficult to retain contributors of all groups, and this is without including the impact of COVID-19. We will do our best to find successful methods to keep sustainability in the Hong Kong Wikimedia movement. Even prior to COVID and the legal changes there had been difficulty in recruiting volunteers for the project.

Q2.From the recommendations, which specific actions and changes would you want prioritized in 2021? edit

Increase the Sustainability of Our Movement
1 Systematic approach to improve satisfaction and productivity
There is an importance in having more editors interested in scientific and technical topics contribute to the Chinese Wikipedia, and this means making sure newcomers are properly respected and welcomed.

Q3. What human capacity and / or financial resources do you need to work on implementation? edit

Think of your existing resources, the movement’s vast resources, and the support infrastructure you may need for moving ideas forward.

Think global, movement-wide changes needed.
