Outside of Wikipedia, I have built a successful career as a project manager, where I have led and managed projects in both Jordan and Saudi Arabia. I currently serve as a Project Manager in one of the largest holding companies in the UAE, where I oversee a diverse range of projects. My experience in these regions has strengthened my expertise in managing complex projects and navigating the cultural and business landscapes of the Middle East.

Within Wikipedia, I contribute as a project coordinator, driving initiatives across the Middle East, global campaigns, and community projects. I am particularly dedicated to supporting minority communities worldwide as a team leader for the Middle East group.

These experiences have equipped me with deep insights into the cultures of the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan, as well as a broader understanding of diverse cultures across the globe.

  1. Editathon WikiArabia 2024: (Role: Main Organizer -collaborative working) I managed 5 training sessions, and the main contest with Ahmad Naji.
  2. Wiki for Minorities in Arabic Community Writing Contest: (Role: Main Organizer -collaborative working) I managed this contest in the whole Arabic world with Donia.
  3. Wiki for Minorities in Arabic community Images contest: (Role: Main Organizer -collaborative working) I managed this contest in the whole Arabic world with Donia.
  4. Wiki Loves Earth in Jordan, Syria, Lebanon and Palestine: (Role: Main Organizer -collaborative working) I managed this contest in Levant with Sandra.

  • in 2023, I Organized the following projects:
  1. How to be A wikipedian First edition:(Role: Sole organizer) project was a two-part initiative I led. The first part involved conducting six training sessions to teach newcomers the basics of editing and contributing to Wikipedia. The second part was a follow-up editing competition designed exclusively for the participants I trained, allowing them to apply their skills and actively contribute to the platform. (This edition was In person work, in Jordan).
  2. How to Be a Wikipedian second edition: (Role: Sole organizer) project was conducted online, making it accessible to participants from all Arab countries. This edition included virtual training sessions, ensuring widespread participation, followed by an editing competition that encouraged participants across the region to contribute to Wikipedia and showcase their skills.
  3. Editathon, The World Day to Combat Desertification and Drought 2023: (Role: Sole organizer) I managed one day in person editathon in Amman and 3 days online about Desertification and Drought.
  4. Editathon, the International Translation Day 2023: (Role: Main Organizer -collaborative working) I managed this Editathon in Arabic community with Sandra.

  1. I was the Folklore Ambassador 2024 for Algeria, Bahrain, British Indian Ocean Territory, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Oman, State of Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates and Yemen.
