Clearing requests from the page

I'd like to request that at least in cases where there has been some disagreement and material discussion, closed requests remain on the page for a few days. (5? 7? I'm open to a specific number.) I appreciate our not wanting to let old requests linger here, and I don't care so much if it's a routine, substantially unopposed request. But it's worth giving people who follow the page a chance to see the results when they are not necessarily obvious. Thanks. StevenJ81 (talk) 13:27, 25 March 2019 (UTC)

There is a watchlist feature in MediaWiki (Special:Watchlist) which allows you to track individual RFPs you are interested in, since they are individual pages. The transclusion on this page is merely an aid to find ongoing RFPs. That being said, I would not mind if closed requests were not removed immediately, but I can see why one prefers not to link to requests where no further community input is needed here. --Vogone (talk) 13:52, 25 March 2019 (UTC)
(I know. But I only noticed it on my watchlist after I saw it was gone from the main page. StevenJ81 (talk) 13:59, 25 March 2019 (UTC))
