Becoming a Translation admin will allow me to make a significant contributions by facilitating the availability of knowledge in multiple languages. With an extensive history of contributing to wikipedia including leading and organising projects shows my commitment to expanding Wikipedia’s knowledge base, particularly in underrepresented languages. Becoming translation admin will help me ensuring that critical information break language barriers. --TheJackNation (talk) 08:54, 22 September 2024 (UTC)
- @TheJackNation: I moved this request to Meta:Requests for translation adminship/TheJackNation as the request appears to be for translation adminship and not regular adminship. Anyways, please prepare, or show you have prepared, a page for translation in accordance with Meta:Internationalization guidelines to demonstrate that you are familiar with translate syntax. - It is unusual for a user to have 20 edits and immediately request TA. But as described above, can you prepare a sample page for translation? ToadetteEdit (talk) 07:37, 23 September 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose, candidates should be responsive, and it's three days after the most recent unanswered question. This and other obvious factors (low edit count, no familiarity with the syntax) indicates that the user isn't prepared to become a translation admin. - Oppose No way can I support a user for a high-trust perm like TA for a user who only has 20 local edits. --SHB2000 (t • c) 10:42, 25 September 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose thank you for volunteering, but the failure to reply with a prepared translation does not spark confidence. Ternera (talk) 15:30, 25 September 2024 (UTC)
Closed as unsuccessful, no support and no need to pile up. --M/ (talk) 19:04, 25 September 2024 (UTC)
