I want to be translation admin to mark pages for translation and do other translation maintenance work. --Ochilov (talk) 07:21, 21 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
- Which pages e.g. need work? --MF-W 00:20, 22 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
- For example, these pages:
- Research:Access to non-public data
- Research:Special API permissions
- Research:Wikimedia Foundation technical support
- Research:Subject recruitment
There is no other languages there, only English. --Ochilov (talk) 05:30, 22 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
- Could you tag these pages for translation first after reading the docs? --Glaisher (talk) 15:15, 22 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
- Already read and have this right in outreach. --Ochilov (talk) 15:19, 22 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
- Glaisher, tagged. --Ochilov (talk) 15:50, 22 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
- Hi, some suggestions after a quick glance: 1. There should be a line after section headers before the section content so that they are recognized as separate translations units. 2. Use tvars whenever needed (eg. in the mailto: link in all these pages) because we don't want translators to translate that. 4. Also wrap the table headers in translate tags because we want the pages to be localized as much as possible. (unfortunately, the templates in these tables are not translatable). 4. Also if there are links to translatable pages, use special:mylanguage (or {{ll}}). Other than these issues, I think it's generally fine. :) --Glaisher (talk) 16:13, 22 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
- Thank you, I understood it. --Ochilov (talk) 16:51, 22 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

- Comment - Request is waiting here for nine days, not standart seven. Can somebody do something? --Ochilov (talk) 10:10, 30 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
- I guess the reason why no one has yet closed it is the low input. Some more comments would be good. -Barras talk 15:41, 30 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
- Successful - Since there is no opposition to grant this right, I close this request as successful and the right has been granted. -Barras talk 12:24, 31 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
