Meta:Requests for translation adminship/Bdamokos
- The following discussion is preserved as an archive of a closed Meta-Wiki request. Please do not modify it.
I would like to become a translation admin, so that I can administer the translation requests relating to Wikimedia Hungary and possibly to the Chapters Committee. I have used Translatewiki, and I have participated in the workshop on how to use the tool, therefore I feel confident that I could use it without problems. Being a translation admin would make my life considerably easier as I would not have to track down a translation admin and explain in great detail every single request. --Bence (talk) 15:02, 26 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Done - Having read Meta:Translation administrators I've seen no mentions to this requests being hold for a week; just that the user must need to know how the tool works and Bdamokos (who is also an admin here) knows how to use it per evidence presented. So request granted. I however suggest that a better guideline on granting this access must be developed so not everything is given to the bureaucrat discrection. This request is closed in good faith and any bureaucrat has my blessing to undo the close if they feel it is innapropiate. —Marco Aurelio (Nihil Prius Fide) 15:21, 26 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
