Meta:Requests for comment/Amendment of the adminship policy
The following request for comments is closed. Invalid RfC. Does not state the problem that needs to be resolved, ignores the existance of Meta:Snowball and the adminship policy in general (e.g. there are no admin confirmations on Meta since ca. 2007) ... —MarcoAurelio (talk) 11:47, 27 August 2020 (UTC)
Statement of the issue
editSometimes a candidate is certain not to pass, and in that case, bureaucrats, admins and any user who has made 2000 global edits should be allowed to close the request as disqualified. Secondly, a request should be able to be early closed if bureaucrats certify that this candidate will definitely pass, but only after 3 days. Thirdly, new admins should be able to be exempt from confirmation for the first year. Lastly, candidates must not have any block log for one year, and any sanction log within 3 years. This user must also have no global ban log. ( A block is a block, but a ban is a sanction. ) PythonSwarm (talk) 10:07, 27 August 2020 (UTC)
