Meta:Requests for CentralNotice adminship/KTC

I would like to request CentralNotice adminship first and foremost to manage CN for Wikimania 2014, in particular in relation to scholarships and registration. I am Chair of the 2014 Scholarship Committee and am also supporting the core team in the rest of the conference organisation. Previously, I have had temporary admin rights twice, first as member of WMF 2008 and then 2013 board elections committee. I didn't break anything then, and will try not to break anything now! I currently have admin rights on en.wp & wm2014 wiki. I am willing to help out with CN at other times if the community are willing to trust me with this right on a regular basis, but also understand if people want to restrict it just to Wikimania 2014. -- KTC (talk) 00:15, 8 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
- I see no problems here. People with CN knowledge are always needed and welcome. I think here speaks nothing against permanent CN adminship, as you are willing to help on other occasions as well (maybe even with the banners for the upcoming steward election - no idea if we've already someone to take care of this. -Barras talk 09:44, 8 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
