About the meet upEdit
A social gathering for Wikimedia enthusiasts, held in a family-friendly pub just outside Nottingham City Centre a short walk or bus/taxi ride from the station. The pub is cosy so younger Wikipedians should feel most welcome and the pub serves coffees and soft drinks, so alcohol consumption is certainly not required.
A meetup is a great opportunity to meet other Wikipedians, to discuss Wikipedia and Wikimedia-related issues, or to get help from experienced editors.

The meetup will be held in the Trent Bridge Inn, 2 Radcliffe Road, West Bridgford, Nottingham, NG2 6AA. The pub is at the junction of the A60 (London Road) and A6520 (Radcliffe Road). For those coming from further afield, exit the M1 at Junction 24 (from the south) and follow the A453 or Junction 26 (from the north) and follow the A610. From the east and west, the pub is easily accessible from the A52. For those on foot or public transport, it's about a mile from the station and a few hundred yards further from Broadmarsh Bus Station. The city centre is just the opposite side of the River Trent. The first Trent Bridge cricket match took place here - so follow signs for the cricket ground.

Warning the car park is small and pay and display with a £70 fine. Probably worth finding some nearby parking.
