editWikipedia editors workshop was conducted on 11th January 2017 at shikshak sadan, Kozhikode. This workshop was conducted in association with a 5-day programme conducted by the keraleeyam magazine. The programme started at 10 AM and closed at 4 PM.
The workshop started with a remembrance of Aaron Schwartz. Manoj Karingamadathil introduced about Aron Schwartz. Irvin calcut introduced Wikipedia and other Wikimedia projects in brief. Jameela and Lalu meledath taken the editing workshop of Wikipedia. Netha Hussain, jaisan nedumpala, zuhairali are actively participated on these workshops.
30 people participated in the programme. Most of them are Media/Journalism students. Neethu Das, who studying about Plachimada strike, Nabeel, who wrote about book about quarries in western ghats and environmentalists like Shafeeque Thamarassery, Santhosh Kumar, Jamsheena Mullappat have participated in the programme.
The Wikipedia team visited the regional office of zoological survey of India Kozhikode after the workshop. The team visited a museum there.
