Some folks use Meetbot to structure and publish meetings on IRC, especially IRC office hours such as mw:Requests for comment discussions.



Note: Tim Landscheidt in his wikitech-l announcement cautioned:

Exported minutes are not backed up; that means that it is your responsibility after a meeting to upload them to a wiki, post them to a mailing list or save them elsewhere. As a corollary, there should never be any links to minutes or logs under

Formatting archived copies


To preserve the archived copy onwiki, the best method is to copy from Meetbot's log.html version, and paste into a page in-between <poem>...</poem> tags. That way URLs will still be clickable links - whereas wrapping in <pre>...</pre> or <source>...</source> would not enable clickable links.
