Replace "Wikimedia" with the project name edit

Could some kind soul please replace "Wikimedia" with "{{SITENAME}}" in this message and all translations thereof? This way, on Wikipedia, the message will display as "You can help Wikipedia change the world!", on Wikiversity "You can help Wikiversity change the world!", etc. (Only problem with this is that on Meta it will say "You can help Meta change the world!" -- perhaps we can special-case that one?) Thanks! AmiDaniel 00:21, 6 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

I don't think that is the intention (we want to get the Wikipedia/Wikimedia brand out; sitenames are an after-thought), please contact Erik for more discussion on this. Cbrown1023 talk 00:24, 6 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
Oh? I thought we were simply using Wikimedia as a temp filler for the time being (at least that was my understanding from w:Wikipedia:Fundraising redesign). In any case, it's going to need some tweaking server-side I just realized, so please don't make the change here yet :) I'll hunt down Erik in the meanwhile too. I thought it would need some further technical tweaking as well, rather than just putting down the magic word (things like these are normally evil and don't follow our rules :-P) which is why I sent you to Erik. :-) Cbrown1023 talk 00:39, 6 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
Haha, yes, it does indeed ... I got a little excited when the thought dawned on me that it would be oh-so-easy-to-do .. but indeed it's not that oh-so-easy-to-do. Anyway, after chatting with a few others, it seems that the Wikimedia vs. Wikipedia issue is something of a matter of contention, so I guess we should probably just leave it for now. Anyway, thanks for keeping me in check! :) AmiDaniel 00:51, 6 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
