Wiki Study Camp 2016 -Kottiyoor

Malayalam Wikimedia community has conducted an outreach program/ study camp as part of the popularization of the Wikimedia projects among general public and students. The community incorporate with the schools near by the venue to provide an educative arena to the capable students to promote Wikipedia in an effective way from the school level. The event held on 17th and 18th of September 2016 at Kottiyoor, one of the Wild Life Sanctuary of Kerala, located in the serene hills of Western Ghats. It was a two days, one night program, along with an edit-a-thon about the bio diversity of Kottiyoor/ Western Ghats, Tribal life and culture etc.
