Maithili Wikimedians User Group/Events/Wikipedia Awareness Program Workshop

Wikipedia Awareness Program Workshop abbreviated as WAPW is a program organized by Maithili Wikimedians User Group to train the interested college students about Wikipedia and it's sister projects. The event is focused to share the Wikipedia related knowledge to college students who showed their interest in Wikipedia Awareness Program. The workshop event is organized at Chai Charcha, Rajbiraj in regular interval. The event is designed to teach students about Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons on the basis of their interests. We have design a 15 days course for an individual student to teach them and aware them about Wikipedia and its sister projects.

The first Wikipedia Awareness Program Workshop was conducted on 22 July, 2023 at Chai Charcha, Rajbiraj. We have 2 students from Mission College and 4 new visitor participants at the workshop who showed their interest in learning Wikipedia and its sister projects. The event was lead by Biplab Anand and Pankaj Deo.

We have 3 students from Kshitiz Educational Foundation at the workshop who showed their interest in learning Wikipedia and its sister projects. We have 20 students from Class 12 of Kshitiz Educational Foundation at the workshop who showed their interest in learning Wikipedia and its sister projects. The event was lead by Biplab Anand, Pankaj Deo and Sanjog Dev and supported by Kiran Kumar Sah, Sundar Yadav and Bishnu Yadav.
