Photowalk Event in Dharampur, Saptari is an event organized by Maithili Wikimedians User Group in Dharampur, Saptari to increase the reach of Wikimedia Commons by introducing new contributors as well as new photographers into the team. Basically, in a Photowalk photographers collaborate to click pictures for Wikimedia Commons.
The theme was Birds around Koshi River Plains, the bird watching hub in Nepal with Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve in the vicinity.

The first photowalk event in Dharampur, Saptari was conducted on 22 July, 2023. The event was lead by Pankaj Deo and Sanjog Dev and Anant Arjun Dev, a young introduce to the wikipedia via Wikipedia Awareness Program (WAP) conducted by Maithili Wikimedians, excitingly participated in the photowalk.
