What problem does this solve? edit

In order to encourage students and highlight the articles created or edited by the students, an initiative has been taken to share articles on social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter.

This initiative has been a great influence in promoting the work done by students to the communities also it helps the communities to understand the work done by the students as a part of the Education Programs activities. While the students have often failed to understand the importance of WEP editing as a contribution towards Open knowledge creation, amalgamating their efforts with Google doodle, tweets and Facebook posts regarding the importance of their articles has helped them to identify the potential and impact of their work.

What is the solution? edit

Using different social media platforms to publish the articles or the work created by the students as a part of WEP, spread awareness of their work among the existing and active community members.

Things to consider edit

  • Use social media: connect with them on Facebook, Twitter etc. pages which are very active to reach out for more audiance. Look at what they're posting and tweeting and make take some time before you make the right connection but when you do, the results can be amazing!
  • Post the on regular basis.

When to use edit

  • This pattern could be applied to any project to promote and spread awareness of the work done the students or community.
  • When your project is met by enthusiasm but you have a hard time sending individual reports to each editor.
