Kiwix/Plan 2021-2022
< Kiwix
Here's our Annual plan for FY2021-2022.
Goals and Outcomes
edit1. Maintain the quality of our core products.
Priorities supported: Worldwide readership
- The key to success (and sustainability) for offline access is the availability of a broad range of contents that are easy to find, share and use. For this fiscal year this means working on reducing costs, roll out better content QA, as well as ensure that most platform remain up to date so that access to free knowledge remains possible even with lower-end devices.
2. Make it easier to access and share offline content
Priorities supported: Worldwide readership, Brand awareness
- We will continue to prioritize the industrialization of content release so that end users and partners alike can use Kiwix as the centerpiece of a rich and varied offline ecosystem of free knowledge. There will be more content to share, platform access will be simpler, and so will content discovery.
- We will extend the range of existing commercial partnerships for the distribution of Kiwix Hotspots so that it is easier to deploy, in more places around the world.
