History
- 1-July 31, 2021: Linah Bagu, the Head of the Kadazandusun Language Department, has been appointed as one of the judges for the competition to add words from the indigenous languages of Malaysia to WikiKata.
- November 11, 2022: The first Wikimedia event held at IPGK Kent was the [wmfdashboard:courses/Wikimedia_Community_User_Group_Malaysia/Bengkel_Wikikamus_Bahasa_Kadazandusun Kadazandusun Language Wiktionary Workshop].
- January 2023: The students participated in the #100hariwiki competition, and one student won first place.
- March 14, 2023: WikiGap 2023 was organized by the Embassy of Sweden in Kuala Lumpur in conjunction with International Women's Day.
- May 20, 2023: A student became an instructor at the NYAA Wikimania Workshop in Singapore.
- 30-May 31, 2023: Linah Bagu was nominated by WCUGM to attend the international conference, the Stockholm Internet Forum.
- 30-May 31, 2023: The club held a project to document Kaamatan, WikiCulture Kaamatan at the KDCA (Kadazan-Dusun Cultural Association).
- 15-August 20, 2023: Three lecturers and eight students attended the Wikimania Singapore international conference sponsored by the Wikimedia Foundation and WCUGM (Wikimedia Community User Group Malaysia).
- August 18, 2023: The club was officially launched on August 18, 2023, at Wikimania Singapore.
- August 29, 2023: 1 lecturer and 2 students attended the official opening reception of the Honorary Consulate of Sweden in Kota Kinabalu on the recommendation of WCUGM.
- September 8, 2023: The first meeting and the selection of committee members for the 2023/2024 term.
