InternetArchiveBot/Documentation/Access false positives report

A “false positive” occurs when InternetArchiveBot detects a link as being down or unavailable even though it is not. Reporting a false positive helps make the bot more accurate.

Options you can take:

• The report is a valid false positive: Two options:
  • A developer can prepare an update for InternetArchiveBot and then update the false positive queue. The report will update automatically
  • A user can modify the whitelist (permalive list), which would cause the report to expire once the “check reports” button is clicked again
• The report is not a valid false positive: you can click the Decline button to decline the report.
