Great! I have announced an online members' conference for 15 October which will decide about an it: language version and its details. The conference will be in German, but we will publish the results in English and Italian soon after the end of the conference at 22 October. If you understand some German, you are welcome to watch. The Assoc: wiki is writable for members only.

I assume that Airin and Gobbler are willing to become admins. As Airin has told me, even Stipy would be ready for beeing Admin. Anybody else? Please confirm by writing "Adm" behind your name.

The italian language version is in preparation now. An outline of the conference's decisions:

  • We start an Italian language version.
  • Gobbler and Airin will be the initial bureaucrats on it:
  • Additionaly, Unger and Hansm as representatives of the board will be bureaucrats on it:, but they are instructed to use this privelege only in excepional cases with good reasons.
  • The founders of the new it: wiki have to translate and adapt a set of key meta articles and will restructure the travel articles. It's up to them to decide which articles and which images will be imported from WT/it.
  • The founders decide when the wiki will be opened for public use. The deadline is 2007-12-31.

Now the same in Italian. L'assocciazione ha deciso che:

  • Apriremo una versione italiana di Wikivoyage.
  • Gobbler e Airin saranno i burocrati iniziali
  • Anche Unger e Hansm come rappresentanti dell'associazione saranno burocrati, ma useranno questo privilegio solo in casi eccezionali.
  • I fondatori del nuovo wiki devono tradurre e adattare alcuni meta-articoli fondamentali e ristrutturare gli articoli di viaggio. Decidono loro quali articoli e immagini devono essere importati da WT/it.
  • I fondatori decidono anche quando il wiki sarà aperto al pubblico. Al piu tardi, però, sarà il 31. 12. 2007.
