Goal

The Aim of this project is to create a user friendly interface for Templates. This helps the user to choose what kind of parameters has to be used to fill their templates. details they filled then the details will be displayed as the according to the choosen template of the user.


Problem statement

It is difficult for a normal users to remember the parameters and adapt the required templates in Source Editing. Also user faces various parameter issues or CSS issues in few complex infoboxes.

Proposed Solution

Build a GUI interface with user friendly form where user can update their data without worring on format. Solution is developed in javascript plug-in with selected few Templates. Elements are interactive like pop-up, floating, or dropdown menus to have better user experience. Any user can import the script and install it in their common.js

Future Enhancements

  • Solution will be scaled for all other templates with realtime parameters in Template pages.
  • Develop a language independent solution to reuse it in different wikipedias.
