Hockey World Cup 2018 Edit a thon was conducted on 7 October 2018 at Thrissur. This Onsite Edit a thon was conducted by Wikimedians of Kerala User Group in association with Odia Wikimedians UG and A2K, The Centre for Internet and Society. The programme started at 10 AM and closed at 4.30 PM.

The event was started with a small introduction about how to edit Wikipedia. Then made a list of articles to be written. Then every body contributed to the project and the event was closed on 4PM.

10 People participated in the programme and 2 of them were new editors. 30 new articles created on this day and a week long online edit-a-thon is started with this event. 158 Articles are created in the online edit-a-thon.
