Is it possible to disable backlinks on a page? edit

For example, I have a contributions page in my userspace listing article links I've created. When I click on Whatlinkshere from one of the articles, I'd like my contributions page to not be shown. Can this be done? Moondyne 03:39, 23 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

I would like to know this too, also for the user page. 78.22.196.73 09:48, 26 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

show contents of 'what links here' page edit

Is there to automatically, directly display a list of backlinks on a particular page? I'm hoping I can include something like:

{{backlinks}}

at the bottom of certain pages, and it will automatically generate a list. Is there any way to do this with built-in functionality? If not, would be it be easy to do with an extension? 146.6.204.90 19:56, 10 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

The standard would be {{Special:WhatLinksHere/Help:What links here}}, but it doesn't work. --Nemo 07:25, 22 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

What links here list format edit

it seems to me that whenever a redirect link type is listed, some of the following ones are indented. I don't understand how the indentation is eventually lost. but this kind of looks to me like an unwanted feature. am I wrong? Wherami (talk) 16:16, 24 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

The indented ones have links to the redirect page under which they are listed, rather than links to the target page itself. I find it useful to see these indirect links without needing to repeat the "what links here" operation on each redirect individually. ~ Ningauble (talk) 18:00, 24 February 2012 (UTC)Reply
I updated the page in an attempt to clarify this. [1] ~ Ningauble (talk) 18:09, 24 February 2012 (UTC)Reply
