I'm an active contributor on Spanish Wikipedia also Portuguese and Catalan and Wikimedia Commons, lead organizer of public events in Mexico which is primarily required use a laptop to contribute, give workshops and run metrics. Actually I'm using in my home an old equipment which I repaired but will have a short life period as my primary. And in editathons I'm using my iPad which is not confortable and not useful for use with projectors. Although I received a laptop because of my work coordinating Wikimania 2015, it had two major flaws, the last one with a hypothetic repair cost of more than 1000 USD, so I can not afford it and it's not granted by manufacturer that the repair will function.

  • Last year in the attempt of #100wikidays I wrote more than 70 new articles in Spanish, Portuguese and Catalan, primarily about women
  • I have the 121 place in New Articles List on Spanish Wikipedia
  • During 2016 Wikimedia Mexico organized 24 public events and I was lead organizer in 80%
