Explain your planEdit
Tell us about how you contribute currently, and how you would contribute if WMF were to gift a used laptop to you. I am a student from Ukraine, who was forced to leave the country because of the current situation with violation of human rights and a prolonged war. I work with very a old equipment, and I do not have money for a good laptop. I have difficulties with processing large amounts of information and downloading files (it takes ages to do smth for Wikidata). My main fields: geography and politics, history of Britain, history of Jews, patrolling, uploading files. I often participate in international projects, and represent there Ukrainian Wikipedia (for example, Central European Spring, Europeana, TED).
Add the existing Wikimedia projects (Wikipedia, Commons, etc.) and language versions that you seek to impact with this equipment.

- Andrew J.Kurbiko is known as a great editor of Ukrainian Wikipedia. An old laptop would be a great investment in the project and this young student who has difficult times to meet his ends. --Taromsky (talk) 22:33, 15 March 2018 (UTC)
You are encouraged to track the impact this equipment has helped you make. This encourages WMF to donate more hardware.
