Greater Bay Area Wikimedians
Greater Bay Area Wikimedians (GBAW) is a user group established in July 2021 with the purpose of promoting the Wikimedia project in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area.

The user group is mainly active in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area and is dedicated to uniting users of the Wikimedia Project in the Greater Bay Area. The user group adheres to the principle of objectiveness and neutrality, does not compete with any other user groups, and cooperates with user groups in an open and inclusive manner to build a harmonious Wikimedia environment.
History
This user group was proposed by Shenzhen Wikipedia person 30000lightyears, and then reached a consensus with the Chinese Wikipedia users who participated in the 2021 Shenzhen Summer Party to formally establish a user group.
