Dear Mr. Snatch

The Wikimedia User Group Nigeria community support fund committee has further reviewed your application, and they have some follow-up questions and requests regarding your application:

  • In the month of October, you had a project at Ramat Polytechnic in Maiduguri which was a success. Why do you think of carrying out another project at the University of Maiduguri when you can have a follow-up project at the polytechnic?
  • The number of articles to be created or improved should be increased.

Hello @Ashioma (WUGN),
  • I have studied at both Ramat Polytechnic and UNIMAID, and I maintain good contact with students and faculty at both institutions. While we do plan to conduct a follow-up project at Ramat Polytechnic, there is strong interest from students at UNIMAID for a similar project.
Additionally, UNIMAID is the largest university in the North East region, and there is a significant opportunity to increase awareness and participation in Wikipedia among its students. By conducting a project at UNIMAID, we can reach a larger audience and potentially attract more viewers and contributors to Wikipedia.
I believe that it is important to spread awareness and engagement with Wikipedia across different educational institutions, and by including UNIMAID in our project plans, we can have a wider impact in the region.
  • Additionally, I increase the numbers of articles to be created to 50.
Thank you for considering our proposal.
