Some clarification about your request

Thank you for your submission, Titodutta, and for your work on the Mahatma Gandhi article. This is an interesting request, and we need a little more information to understand if it fits within the scope of the TPS program.

It seems like you are requesting funding to do some primary research on the article topic. Since original research cannot be included in Wikipedia articles, it would be good to get some clarification about how your trip to the National Archives will result in improvements to the Wikipedia article you’re working on. For example, do you plan to publish your research in another place which can then be cited in the article? If so, what is your plan for doing that? Do you plan to find other secondary sources that will be included in the article?

As for the email to participation bouncing back, thank you for documenting it here. It looks like email address is missing an "r" with the error message having "paticipation" instead of "participation". -- Best regards, Jtud (WMF) (talk) 19:15, 9 January 2015 (UTC)
