Grants talk:TPS/Jbuket/Wiki seminar Yangantau
Request partially funded
editThank you for your submission, Jbuket. The committee has approved funding for your airfare, and WMF's travel agent will work with you directly to book your flights. However, since WMF's Project & Event Grant program is funding the meals and hotel is being sponsored by the resort, these items on your budget will not be reimbursed. We do understand that you may not be one of the 25 participants who will receive free accommodation. So, if after the event and during your grant reporting period, you provide documentation of your hotel expense (in addition to your flight receipt/s), WMF will be able to reimburse you up to RUR 6400 / 85 USD as indicated on your budget breakdown.
Please review the next steps for your grant as described in "How the program works". Note that your post-event report must provide a link to an outcome from your participation, such as a learning pattern to teach others something you've learned at the event, a link to something new that was co-created by you and your fellow participants at the event, or a blog post you wrote to share your experience with others after the event.
I will reach out to you via email (from grantsadmin wikimedia.org) to issue your grant agreement. Thank you for your work on behalf of the Wikimedia Foundation. -- Best wishes, JTud (WMF), Grants Administrator (talk) 19:03, 2 March 2016 (UTC)
Grant request changes
editAccording to changes in duration of the seminar I want to change the date of returning for 2 April. The period after seminar and before flight I plan to stay in Ufa (in the house of one of Bashkir Wikipedian). --Jbuket (talk) 19:24, 16 March 2016 (UTC)
- Thank you for the update, Jbuket. As long as costs remain within the original approved amount of US$400, your request to change your travel date for returning to Ukraine to 2 April 2016 is approved. I will reach out to our travel team and let them know of the change. -- Best wishes and safe travels, JTud (WMF), Grants Administrator (talk) 19:36, 16 March 2016 (UTC)
- Thank you very much! --Jbuket (talk) 11:53, 17 March 2016 (UTC)
