Grants talk:Project/Rapid/Wikimedia Nigeria Foudation Inc/Visibility Project/Report

Report accepted edit

Hello Olaniyan Olushola and Wikimedia Community User Group Nigeria colleagues, thanks for submitting this final report. It is great to hear that the project was successful and you met almost all initial targets. I have some questions and comments for you after reviewing the report:

  • In the Outcomes section, you referenced table 2 which I couldn’t find anywhere in the report. Did you mean the “List of articles created by community” section? If yes, could you please fix this?
  • You mentioned that you haven’t reached the proposed number of participants. Do you have any reason why you had less participants than expected?
  • Thanks for the diverse and inclusive approach throughout the event. I’m glad to see that the mentoring program was held in three languages.
  • Did you follow the proposed schedule and organized all sessions as mentioned on the proposal page?
  • We commend you on creating partnership opportunities for journalists! Did you run any follow up activities to involve these journalists in the Wikimedia Movement?
  • It’s also great to learn that the participants were very interested in the project. Did any of them continue editing after the events?

Thanks again for your work and dedication. I’m happy to accept the final report and expense documents for your project which means that the grant is now complete. Best wishes, DSaroyan (WMF) (talk) 13:37, 1 June 2021 (UTC)Reply
