Hello Otuo-Akyampong Boakye, thank you for submitting your grant application for Wiki Communicates Climate. We appreciate your interest in contributing to the mission of the Wikimedia Movement. We are continuously strengthening our grants review process, ensuring that grant funding is being invested towards impactful projects and efforts geared towards contributing to the mission of Wikimedia Movement in the most efficient and effective manner.

After a thorough review of your application, we have decided to not fund your Rapid Fund request.

• While the project focus is an important one, I couldn't see a clear connection between proposed promotional activities around environmental justice and Wikimedia projects. We only fund activities that are directly aimed at improving one or more of Wikimedia's existing websites.
• The project is structured around a promotional video campaign. Though I understand the social and cultural significance, I don't think that Wikimedia projects will benefit from the described video campaign. Additionally, I don't think that creating short individual videos and promoting them on social media will bring any impact to Wikimedia projects including Wikimedia Commons.
