Hello @Mrnyben1313:, Thank you for your work on the proposal for Addressing Systemic bias against Nigeria Radio stations on Wikipedia. I have reviewed your proposal and have the following comments:

1. Kindly reduce the total amount of the prizes of the winners of edit-a-thon upto 300 USD. Additionally, please note that funds need to be disbursed in the form of coupons as cash prizes are not supported as per our guidelines of the Rapid Grants Program. Done
2. Can you explain the expenses related to the Public Address System and Alternative Power Supply line items in the grant budget?

Hi, @RSharma (WMF):, the academy has promised to give us for free their hall for the proposed training but they mandated that we need to rent PAS, to support voices of trainers and speakers, and also theAlternative Power Generator to complement their power system, should in the case there is an electricity outage.Mrnyben1313 (talk) 12:30, 16 February 2021 (UTC)

Request For Extension

Good Day,

Hi @RSharma (WMF): Please be informed that I will like to request an extension on my recently funded project Addressing Systemic bias against Nigeria Radio stations on Wikipedia. My request for the extension is hinged on the fact that the slight delay in receiving the funds has affected the planning of the event which resulted in the Institutional partner Nigerian Broadcast Academy (NBA) requesting that we reschedule the event to a later date in April which will be communicated in my next meeting with them on 13th of April 2021.

Kindly be informed that I only received the funds for the project on the 24th of March 2021. I shall be glad if my request for the extension is considered.--Mrnyben1313 (talk) 17:34, 29 March 2021 (UTC)

Extension request

Hello @DSaroyan (WMF): I will like to request a further extension to my report due date this is due to changes in the board of directors of the partner's organisation.

I have met with the new management and we have agreed to organise the event in June to allow them settle into the new role.

Hello @DSaroyan (WMF): I will like to request a further extension to my report due date the request became necessary based on a feedback from the management of the Institution partner that all trainings are put on hold till August.

I met with the Director of training in the institution earlier this week and we have agreed to a tentative date of 19th and 20th August.

I seek your kind consideration to extend my report submission date this is due to the fact that the project partner has further changed the date for the training to 27th & 28th October 2021.

The Head of Academics at the Academy just confirmed this new date via an email to the community. I hereby request for a new project date of 27th & 28th October 2021 and project report due date is moved to the end of November.
