Hello Richest Kid, thank you for submitting this Rapid Grant request. It is great to see that you are organizing another Open Festival project to document the traditional festivals of Ghana. I have reviewed your proposal and have the following questions and comments.

• How are you going to ensure that the photos serve an encyclopedic purpose and are useful for other Wikimedia projects?
• Why is the number of photos used on other Wikimedia projects (5) considerably lower compared to the total number of photos to be uploaded (1000)?
• Are you planning to have one camera at the photowalks?
• Have you been been able to meet the targets from your last project - number of uploaded, used photos and created articles? What will you be doing differently this time to ensure that those targets are met?

1.Are you planning to have one camera at the photowalks?

• Yes, we are planning to use a camera,we would be renting two cameras for the project, we have added it to the budget.

2. Have you been been able to meet the targets from your last project - number of uploaded, used photos and created articles? What will you be doing differently this time to ensure that those targets are met?

• We were not able to meet the targets of 1000 photos due to the fact that we had a lot of duplicates, so at the end of the project we were able to contribute 647 [images & photos]and 2 images uploaded to wikipedia.Find here

• This year we are increasing the number of festivals celebrated in Ghana
• There is no wikipage on 3 Awards Festival so we would be creating an article for that
• Most of our music artist are not found on the wikicommons project so we have decided to add them and make contributions to that effect on wikipedia Ghana Music Awards
• We would also be in talks with the artist to make some of their works license free.
• More deeper traditional videos, images and audios that really tells the story of the festivals.
• Getting a tour Guide with us to establish relationship before ,during and after the festival.
• We would avoid duplicate pictures so that we can meet our target.

3. Why is the number of photos used on other Wikimedia projects (5) considerably lower compared to the total number of photos to be uploaded (1000)?

• We want the project to be measurable that's why we chose (5),but at the moment we have changed it to (about 50) photos based on skill set.

4 How are you going to ensure that the photos serve an encyclopedic purpose and are useful for other Wikimedia projects?

• We would ensure that photos are being encyclopedic by making the photos available on Wikimedia and its sister project.Richest Kid (talk) 21:19, 20 February 2020 (UTC)
