Hello Osvaldo rey chrys, welcome to Wikimedia Foundation Funds! Thanks for submitting this Rapid Fund request to run the Wiki Loves Africa 2022 in Congo. I have reviewed your application and I have a few questions:

• The amounts mentioned in the probox (right sidebar) and detailed budget do not match. Could you please fix this discrepancy?
• I noticed that you don't have any experience with Wikimedia projects. In similar cases, we request that you have active community members supporting all activities. I see that Georges Fodouop will be supporting you. However, I'd like to learn if you have other experienced Wikimedians in the team from the Republic of Congo or other communities who will support you? Will the Wiki in Africa support you as well?
• Are any of the jury members experienced Wikimedians?
• I want to highlight that the requested communication budget is higher from what we usually fund. However, given that this is your first project, we'll be willing to fund it.

Hello DSaroyan (WMF), Thanks for your message. The change has been made.

As you can see, we have no experience and we are committed to become wikimedians starting with the participation in this contest. For the moment, we don't know anyone in our country who has any experience but we will have the support of Georges; moreover Wiki In Africa already supports us.

We are registered in the whatsApp group and are aware of the different information and trainings. At the same time, they are willing to support us once the funding is approved. As for the jury, they are more digital professionals: photographers, journalists and cultural actors.
