Hello Nirajan pant, thanks again for submitting this Rapid Grant request. It’s great to see that this year Wikimedians of Nepal is planning to join the Wiki Loves Monuments contest too! I have reviewed your proposal and have the following comments:

  • Could you please push back the grant start date to September 1, 2020, to allow time for grant review and processing?
  • Please note that we have had problems sending funds in NPR in the past, that’s why we will send the funds in USD if this request is approved.
  • Could you please provide more details about the Communication/Internet budget budget? Which communication and Internet costs are you planning to cover and for how many participants?

I’ll look forward to your response! Best regards, DSaroyan (WMF) (talk) 09:19, 19 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hi DSaroyan (WMF), thank you for the comments.

  • I have updated the grant start date to September 1, 2020.
  • If there is an issue in sending funds in NPR, it is fine to send the funds in USD.
  • Communication/Internet budget: There are two types of expenses 1) expenses for the communication between organizers, volunteers and the photographer teams with which we have planned for the virtual collaboration. 2) internet expenses, we can offer internet service (mobile data) to around 10-15 individual collaborators.

Let me know if you have further questions. Thanks again. --Nirajan pant (talk) 11:16, 19 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
