Realocation request

edit

Hi Wikimedia Foundation and DSaroyan (WMF),

As I explained in the item "Remaining funds" in this Report, I would like permission to reallocate the remaining amount of 1,000 USD to the project "Indigenous and Brazilian quilombolas tell their story", also organized by me.

I have already received part of the recordings and I am very happy with the result, because we will have an important material to show at the end of the project! Part of the recordings are in the native dialect of theses communities (Portuguese is the second language of many of them) and it is not possible to understand what is being said without translation.

Consequently, the main objective is to use the remaining amount to translate and subtitle videos recorded in the native dialects with the participation of these communities. The amount will be divided among the communities according to the number and duration of the videos, which I will only be able to calculate when everyone finishes their recordings. I commit myself to detail the value paid to each community at the end of the project in their Report.

I'm at your disposal for any further information you may need. Jani Pereira (talk) 19:24, 24 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hi Jani Pereira, thanks for posting this reallocation request. I'm glad to formally approve it. You can use the remaining funds of 1,000 USD to translate and caption the videos in the native dialects of your communities. After spending the funds, you are required to post a short report on this page with some details about your project and expenses. Best regards, DSaroyan (WMF) (talk) 07:24, 25 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
