Hello KCVelaga, thanks for submitting this Rapid Grant request. We are excited that with your newly established Indic MediaWiki Developers User Group, you plan to run a series of technical workshops for small wikis. I have reviewed your application and have one request:

• In the proposal, you mentioned that you would reach out to Indic communities on their village pumps and notify about this project. Could you please reach out to the targeted Indic / South Asian communities about the grant proposal now, and provide links to these notifications in the proposal? We would like to allow community feedback for at least 3-5 days before we process the proposal.

@DSaroyan (WMF): Hi Davit, thanks for reviewing the proposal. The village pump notification have primarily been mentioned as way to announce individual workshops, so that interested people can sign-up. There are more than 40 village pumps, I am not sure if messaging them all (can send a mass message) is the best option. An alternative I would suggest is to announce on the major mailing lists of these regions, they are https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/wikimediaindia-l, https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/wikimedia-bd, Nepal list (couldn't find it right now), and https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/mediawiki-india.
